I’ve been LOVING watermelon this week. Rather then eating it, I’ve been drinking it! It can be juiced for a cool refresher or blended for a sweet creamy treat.
To make a DELICIOUS thirst quenching cooler, try juicing the watermelon, rind and all. The rind is where most of the nutrients lie you know.
Don’t have a juicer? Blend the watermelon up with a touch of water. Add lime juice & pureed raspberries (strain the seeds in a nut milk bag or strainer before adding to watermelon juice) Serve over ice with a lime wedge.
My fridge has been stocked with this watermelon cooler all week. So, so, good. Raspberries, watermelon & lime were meant to be together!
Don’t drink gatorade or water in this heatwave! Carry around an ice cold watermelon raspberry lime cooler. Everyone will be jealous of how beautifully pink your drink is!
Probably never thought to make a creamy watermelon shake, huh? I sure didn’t but now I’ll be making lots of them in the summer months!!
Watermelon Creamsicle Smoothie:
Blend watermelon juice (or you can throw watermelon cubes right in instead) with Sunwarrior Vanilla Protein, frozen raspberries or strawberries, vanilla almond milk, frozen banana & a squeeze of lime juice.
MmMmmm…..frothy, creamy, tangy and oh so sweet!
